SOIL & WATER:
- Pot in a well-draining plastic or ceramic container with equal parts long-fiber sphagnum moss / coarse perlite.
Avoid terra-cotta pots and fertilized soil products such as the Miracle-Gro brand) - Keep the soil damp using a low TDS water source such as R/O or distilled water. Do NOT tray-water! Unlike many others within the carnivorous genera, Nepenthes do not like to sit in water or be continuously exposed to wet conditions.
LIGHTING:
- Full spectrum T5/LED lighting with a 12-15 hour photo-period is a great option for the indoor grower.
- For growing outdoors, a shade cloth is recommended. Providing adequate shade will help prevent sunburn.
- Keep out of direct sunlight for long periods, especially on the hottest days. Species and hybrids with thin leaves are especially prone to burning.
AIR CIRCULATION:
- The high-humidity conditions Nepenthes thrive in can be the perfect breeding grounds for bacteria, fungus, and disease. Adequate air-circulation around the plant is critical in preventing mold and fungal infections.
FEEDING:
- For larger Nepenthes, feeding can be achieved by adding a diluted mixture of MaxSea fertilizer to a couple pitchers 1-2x per month. (1/4 teaspoon MaxSea mixed into 1 gallon of RO or distilled water)
We suggest adding to older pitchers to keep the newest pitchers looking nice and fresh! - For smaller plants and seedlings, very lightly mist the leaf surface with the diluted mixture taking care to avoid overspray accumulation in the soil.
- Supplemental feeding may not be necessary if your plant is able to naturally feed in your environment.

PACKING DETAILS:
When we pack your order, we take the utmost care to ensure your plant arrives safely to you, each and every time.
- All plants are shipped bare-root with rootball wrapped in long fiber sphagnum moss, unless otherwise indicated.
- Plant(s) will be secured with precision inside durable packaging for a gentle ride on its journey to you.
- When applicable, we pack with heat packs and foam insulation.
(It's always best to let us know if you feel a heat pack or other special accommodations are needed.)

IF YOUR PLANT BECOMES LOST IN TRANSIT OR OTHERWISE DELAYED:

IF YOUR PLANT ARRIVES DEAD OR DAMAGED: ⍟
To be eligible for our Live Arrival Guarantee, you must provide the following:
- THREE (3) clear pictures of each plant and a brief summary of the issue WITHIN four (4) hours of the time-stamped delivery by email to sales@wickedplantco.com.
- Failure to provide documentation WITHIN the time frame provided will VOID this guarantee.

Pitcher and/or Leaf die-off, prior to/during transit or upon arrival, does not constitute damage and can be normal during changes in the environment. Failure to acclimate your new plant properly is not covered under our guarantee. Please review our care tips for properly acclimating and caring for your new plant(s).
Package Theft & Natural Disasters:
Wicked Plant Co utilizes durable boxes and fiberglass reinforced security tape to help discourage theft and prevent damage while in transit. Please help us by providing a safe location to ship your plant to.

GUARANTEE TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Orders eligible for refund are granted by STORE CREDIT ONLY, on a case-by-case basis, per the terms indicated in our Guarantee.
EXCLUSIONS:
- Shipping charges are NON-REFUNDABLE.
- Shipping expense for replacement orders will be billed to the customer.
- Our Live Arrival Guarantee does NOT extend to package theft or to packages damaged/lost/confiscated or otherwise harmed as a result of natural and/or other major catastrophic events.
For international customers, please review the terms below.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:
- Plants and products being delivered internationally are excluded from our Live Arrival Guarantee.
- Plants being forwarded to other countries are excluded from our Live Arrival Guarantee, past initial US delivery.
To be eligible for a guarantee on a US delivery, customers must strictly adhere to the policy as stated above.
RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
All sales are final. No refunds. No returns. No exchanges.
- Order cancellations will be accepted on a case-by-case basis and will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- No cancellations will be accepted on special orders.
